SENKO Group Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuhisa Fukuda; “SENKO Group”) acquired 60% of stocks of Australian transporter of precision machinery and automotive components AirRoad Pty. Ltd. (Head office: New South Wales, Australia; President: Malcolm Thorpe: “AirRoad”), and the company joined the group on April 30.

AirRoad has a track record of more than three decades in the cargo and vehicle transportation business within Australia, and provides a high-quality service that is also rated highly by major global companies. The population of Australia continues to increase annually, and growth in the logistics market is expected in the future.
The SENKO Group established Senko Logistics Australia Pty. Ltd. (Head office: New South Wales, Australia; President: Keisuke Sugihara) in 2010, and the company has supported the expansion of major Japanese homebuilders with quality as its key forte.
Making AirRoad a subsidiary comes as part of plans to expand the 3PL business with the warehousing know-how of the SENKO Group and the use of robotics technology, based on our highquality delivery and logistics service. The SENKO Group will also make a full-scale entry into the cold logistics chain business sector by establishing long-distance transportation of frozen and cold items as well as local delivery.
